Donald J. Trump and SIMDAG, LLC, announced today that 98 percent of Trump Tower Tampa's ultra-luxury condominium and penthouse residences have been reserved.
The announcement came prior to a private opening of the property's sales center and unveiling of the 52-story building's scale model. The sales center will open to the public on Monday, February 21.
Trump Tower Tampa, which was announced in early January, will be built on a 1.5-acre site along the Hillsborough River in the city's cultural and financial district.
Trump's first project on the Gulf of Mexico, it will offer 190 residences priced from $700,000 to more than $6 million.
"We knew that Mr. Trump's involvement in this building and his reputation for excellence would generate excitement," said Dr. Howard Howell, a partner in SIMDAG. "However, the response has far exceeded even our highest expectations. It's extremely gratifying that so many have been attracted to our property and to our city."
"We announced Trump Tower Tampa just a little over a month ago," added Jody Simon, also a SIMDAG partner. "Within a couple of weeks, we had reservations for half of the residences, and now we have backup reservations on a number of the residences. It's been a truly worldwide response; the inquiries have come from 40 different countries."
The newly opened sales center, which is located at 102 West Whiting Street adjacent to the building site, features a fully appointed kitchen and master bath, as well as the scale model, samples of all finish materials and photography of the river, bay and city views that Trump Tower Tampa residences will offer.
The development was designed by the Tampa-based firm of Smith Barnes Santiesteban Architecture, Inc. The Toni Everett Co., is handling sales and HomeBanc is the mortgage lender.
In addition to being the largest real estate developer in New York, Mr. Trump is currently developing residential, hotel and golf club projects in Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Miami, the Caribbean, Westchester, NY, Bedminster, NJ and Seoul, South Korea.
SIMDAG, LLC is a partnership of five successful Tampa Bay-area real estate developers who have completed more than 1,000 luxury condominium and townhouse residences in the Tampa Bay market.
Trump Tower Tampa, a development of Donald J. Trump and SIMDAG, LLC, will be the first Trump project on the Gulf of Mexico and, at 52 stories, the tallest residential building on the Gulf Coast. Amenities will include concierge and valet services, a conference room/business center, a party room with a catering kitchen and bar, a fitness center and spa, serviced suites for overnight guests, billiards and game rooms and state-of-the-art access control systems.
Completion is projected for 2007.
